NID Spool
Enginuity’s Single Family Spool Network Interface Device (NID) accepts our Spooled Indoor/Outdoor fiber to the premise. Accommodates feeder drop cable that is pre-terminated with SC/APC or spliced in the NID. Designed with a compact and rugged construction to ensure a durable and reliable performance in an indoor or outdoor environment.
FEATURES
- Dedicated fiber management area for feeder fiber that is either pre-terminated with SC/APC connector or blunt for splicing in the NID
- Includes (1) SC/APC adapter for connectorized drop
- Configured to accept Enginuity’s Spooled Indoor/Outdoor fiber cable that routes to the premise (sold separately)
- Choice of unique 4-port rubber grommet that provides superior sealing for cables and provides strain relief or rubber grommet that accommodates 3/4” and 1” conduit
- 3/8” Hex Head Bolt access with 216 tool with provision for padlock
- Tone/tracer wire post for external access on bottom side

NID - Fiber Spool
Enginuity’s Spooled Indoor/Outdoor fiber allows a user to select fixed length fiber to the premise, deploy the length needed and install the spool with remaining fiber inside the NID. Optimizes deployment by reducing the number of lengths of Indoor/Outdoor fiber cable ordered/stocked. Reduces the time to route the fiber into the premise for a more efficient deployment.

- Designed to store inside Enginuity’s NID. (NID sold separately)
- Available in various jacket sizes and cable lengths
- Pre-terminated with SC/ACP—SC/APC, with connector housing removed on the pull-end to accommodate conduit/duct routed inside premise
- Singlemode, bend insensitive G.657.B3 fiber for superior performance over tight bends
- Locking feature to prevent spool from spinning when mounted inside NID
